Women's Services
At San Angelo Community Medical Center, or SACMC, more than 70 percent of us who work here are women. We are physicians, secretaries, nurses, administrators, housekeepers and therapists. Like you, we are daughters, moms, sisters, grandmothers, aunts and great-grandmothers. We use SACMC physicians, our mammography services, and we have our babies here. We want the same information you do about managing women's healthcare. We are you, and we welcome you to this web site.
Whether you are just out of high school, expecting a baby, a stay-at-home mom, a business woman, today's boomer exploring the myths of midlife, a new retiree or a grandmother, we know you are making health care decisions for youself and for those who depend on you.
One Stop for Women's Healthcare
SACMC offers many exclusive programs and facilities, such as our neonatology care for premature babies and our award-winning fitness center, Community Health Club of San Angelo.
You will find information here on our many women's programs and services: well-woman healthcare, navigating the rapid changes of midlife, ideas for today's new senior, and help in managing conditions that can threaten women's lives and well-being. We offer women's care from a wide variety of physicians and other healthcare providers.
If you are pregnant or seeking answers on parenting, you are in the right place. With our physicians, we offer every option, including infertility solutions and complete medical support. Whether you are interested in childbirth classes, breastfeeding help, natural childbirth or epidural anesthesia, we have it here at SACMC.
Through Community Health Club of San Angelo, we offer TwoFit and Baby Steps classes to help you stay in shape during pregnancy and get back into shape after delivery.
