  • Have you ever wondered how much body fat you have? Did you know that increased body fat can lead to many diseases and health conditions? An accurate and inexpensive way to assess yourself is by calculating your body mass index (BMI).

  • Eat this, not that! Healthy food choices can help decrease the risk of obesity, coronary heart disease, hypertension, stroke, type 2 diabetes and some cancers. Learning to read food labels can help you implement healthy changes to your diet.

  • An aspirin a day can help keep the doctor away. Aspirin use in women can help prevent the incident of stroke. Aspirin can also help prevent heart attacks in women at high risk and women age 65 and older.
