Chef Henry Wiens, food services director at San Angelo Community Medical Center and co-host of the Let's Eat television show, is the only Culinary Institute of America (CIA) Certified chef in San Angelo. He has also won the national entegra competetion in 2005.
Henry and his staff serve about 30,000 meals a month. That includes Patient Room Service which has increased patient satisfaction. The Food and Nutrition staff serve up wonderful café meals that always has a "Better Me” healthy choice. The Catering staff covers many community events showcasing their expertise. The vision of excellence in food and service is the focus for the Food & Nutrition Department at SACMC. Bon Appetit!
