James J. Taylor, D.O., F.A.C.O.S. is a specialist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. Dr. Taylor is considered a pioneer in minimal invasive beating heart surgery. In addition, his performance in both quality and outcome measurements are better than the national average as measured by Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is board certified in Cardiothoracic, Cardiovascular, and General Surgery. And was named “Super Doc, Cardiac Surgery” by Texas Monthly (2004).

Michael Blanc, M.D., FACC, FSCAI is a specialist in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology and a member of Community Medical Associates. He earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University and has been board certified in cardiology since 1989, cardiovascular medicine since 1991, and interventional cardiology since 2003.

Miltiadis N. Leon, M.D. is a specialist in cardiovascular medicine and an independent physician. He earned his medical degree from the University of Patras and has been board certified since 1993, cardiovascular medicine since 1997, and interventional cardiology since 1999.

Timothy Reynolds, M.D., FACC is a specialist in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology and a member of Community Medical Associates. He earned his medical degree from University of Mississippi School of Medicine and has been board certified in interventional cardiology since 2000 and internal medicine since 1988.

Prompt intervention is essential in a cardiac emergency. Every second counts. If you have chest pain, go immediately to the Emergency Department at San Angelo Community Medical Center. At the Emergency Department, trained specialists will quickly evaluate your situation. If you are having a heart attack you will have the complete resources of the Cardiology Department available to treat your situation. If you chest pain is caused by another factor, we can address that situation and provide you and your loved ones the peace of mind of knowing that you are not having a heart attack.
