The Belly Button Garden

The Belly Button Garden at San Angelo Community Medical Center is a whimsical courtyard where we celebrate the life of every new baby born at our hospital.

Over 7,000 ceramic buttons have hung in our garden since 2001 honoring newborns. The buttons are uniquely hand-crafted by Roger Allen.

We have retired 2001-2004 ceramic buttons from the Belly Button Garden. Buttons are available at the Chicken Farm Art Center.
