Cardiac care at San Angelo Community Medical Center includes preventative care, open heart surgery (both on- and off-pump available), cardiac screening & evaluation, non-invasive diagnostic technology, cardiac cath lab, endoscopic vein harvesting, and cardiac rehabilitation.

It may be emotionally difficult to call for an appointment to find out if you have heart disease, but it could turn out to be the best health move you ever make.

Prompt intervention is essential in a cardiac emergency. Every second counts. If you have chest pain, go immediately to the Emergency Department at San Angelo Community Medical Center. At the Emergency Department, trained specialists will quickly evaluate your situation. If you are having a heart attack you will have the complete resources of the Cardiology Department available to treat your situation. If you chest pain is caused by another factor, we can address that situation and provide you and your loved ones the peace of mind of knowing that you are not having a heart attack.
